主讲人简介：
Raymond Chan: 香港中文大学数学系教授, 著名计算数学专家, SIAM Fellow (2013),
World Innovation Foundation Fellow (2004), 冯康科学计算奖(1997), Leslie Fox数值分析奖(1989)等奖项获得者。2004, 陈教授被列为世界数学领域论文引用率最高的250人之一。他和著名数学家丘成桐教授在香港创办了Asia Journal of Mathematics并担任主编。同时，陈教授还是SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, Journal of Scientific Computing, Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications, Advances in Computational Mathematics, International Journal of High Speed
Computing, Advances in Decision Sciences, Computing Reviews, Advances in Numerical Analysis, Advances in Computational Mathematics, Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition, East Asian Journal on Applied Mathematics, Journal of Mathematical Finance等国际学术期刊的主编或编委。他曾发表百余篇高水平学术论文, 应邀于20多个国家作了超过100次的大会邀请报告。
袁晓明：本科就读于南京大学数学系,博士毕业于香港城市大学数学系,曾于University of Victoria, University of British Columbia Okanagan,上海交通大学(安泰经济与管理学院)等院校就职。2008年,袁博士入职香港浸会大学数学系, 现为香港数学学会秘书。袁博士曾在Mathematical Programming, Numerische Mathematik, European Journal of Operational Research, SIAM Journal on Optimization, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Imaging Science, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing,SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, Mathematics of Computation, Inverse Problems, Journal of Scientific Computing, IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Imaging Sciences等国际期刊发表学术论文50余篇。目前袁博士的研究兴趣是最优化算法、变分不等式理论与互补问题、统计学习以及图像处理等领域。
